Racers Race past Eagles ( Senior Night )
Coming in to today’s game it has been a tale of two seasons for the Racers and Eagles. Murray State coming in with a great record at 23-4 and sitting atop of the OVC while Morehead State is 11-18 and sitting in the lower part but looking for a big upset here on Senior Day. Well the Racers has something different in mind. Ja Morant got things started with a deep three and from there they just poured it on while Morehead couldn’t buy a bucket, shooting about 12 and half % from the field and missed their last 19 shots of the half going 4-32. The Racers went into the break with a 40-14 lead. The Eagles made a run in the 2nd half but it wasn’t enough to pull themselves out of the hole they dug offensively. They fall to the Racers 71-52 behind Ja Morant’s triple double. Murray State moves to 24-4 and Morehead States goes to 11-19.
