Lady Saints Fall to Fairview
Ashland, KY – The St. Patrick Lady Saints traveled to Ashland Saturday for a matchup with 16th region contender Fairview. The Lady Eagles showed why they are to be taken seriously this year as they routed St. Pat 67-42.
Fairview utilized a spread offense and was quick moving the ball around the perimeter. The Lady Eagles hit seven three pointers and scored the bulk of their points on easy baskets by beating St. Patrick’s press.
Senior Justina Klee had a game high 13 points while the only other Saint to hit double figures was Caroline McKay who tallied 10 in the losing effort. St. Patrick now stands at 6-5 while Fairview improves to 11-2.
St. Patrick returns to action at home on Monday as they host Fleming County at the Shamrock.
