Late Rally Lifts Lady Panthers Past St. Patrick

Augusta, KY – The Augusta Lady Panthers went on a 7-0 runlate in the fourth quarter to knock off district rival St. Patrick 55-49 Wednesday night inside the Panther Den.

The Lady Panthers avenged a double-digit loss to the Saints back in December to even the series 1-1 for season. Augusta was led in scoring by Kylee Harper. The senior center poured in 16 points on the night as her team improved to 11-9 for the year. 

Justina Klee had a game high 19 points for St. Patrick as the Lady Saints fell to 8-8 on the season. 

St. Patrick returns to action Saturday afternoon when they journey into the ninth region to take on Covington Holmes. Augusta will try to make it three in a row when they take on cross town rival Bracken County in Brooksville Saturday night.
