Klee Joins 1000 Point Club in Win Over Bath County
Maysville, KY – Saint Patrick Lady Saints Justin Klee scored her 1000th point Friday night as she and her teammates knocked off visiting Bath County 48-40 in front of a packed house at the Shamrock.
Klee needed 17 points to reach the 1000-point milestone and managed eight points in the first quarter. Early foul trouble forced St. Pat Coach Andy Arn to limit Klee’s playing time the rest of the first half. Klee finally reached the milestone with less than two minutes left in the game and officials stopped the game as fans and her teammates congratulated the senior center and presented her the game ball.
Klee ended with 17 points along with sophomore standout Allison Hughes also scoring 17 points on the night. The Lady Saints improved to 11- 9 on the season and will tip it up again Monday when they take a trip up north to play Felicity-Franklin at Felicity, Ohio.
