St. Patrick Saints Route Bellevue 77-33

As the rain poured outside, St. Patrick Saint L. J. Conner pouredthree pointers inside as the Saints outgunned Bellevue 73-33 Friday night at the Shamrock and earned their third win of the season.

Conner hit six out of ten three pointers and scored 28 first half points as St. Patrick took a 54-16 lead at the end the second quarter and the Saints never looked back.

The Saints pressured Bellevue throughout most of the game and used a stifling defense to shut down the Tiger’s offense and hand them their sixth loss of the season compared to just one win.

St. Patrick placed seven players in the scoring column with Conner having a game high 33 points for the Saints as they improved to 3-7. They return to action Saturday as Fleming County pays a visit to the Shamrock. 

Bellevue was led in scoring by R.J. Harris who had a team high 13 points. The Tigers will look to turn things around on Monday when they host Covington Latin.
