WOMEN’S TRACK GAINS TWO TRANSFER STANDOUTS FOR 2021 ROSTER

Morehead State’s women’s track and field program has gained two additions to the roster for the 2021 season and both are sprint specialists.

Sierra Kelley, from Evansville, Ind., is transferring to the Eagles after two years in her hometown’s Division I school. Kilani Harvey, whose hometown in Orlando, Fla., is making the move back East after one indoor season at Highland (Kan.) Community College.

Kelley, who prepped at Evansville North High School, set a pair of personal bests in the 200 and 400 meter races during the 2020 season. She finished in a time of 27.68 in the 200 meters at the Marshall Invitational where MSU also competed.

During the 2019 season, she recorded a program record as part of the Aces’ 4×400 meter relay team, finishing in a time of 4:10.76.

Harvey is a product of Jones High School in Orlando where she set personal bests of 12.10 in the 100 meters and 24.87 in the 200 meters. Harvey placed 8th in the Florida state meet 200 meter run and 15th in the 100 meters her senior year.

In her only indoor season at Highland CC, she qualified for the national NJCAA 60 and 200 meter races and the 4×400 relay.
