The KHSAA has released guidelines for the upcoming winter sports season. Although most changes will be minor, the lone exception will be the start of the high school basketball. Instead of a jump ball the team to get first possession will be determined by a coin flip. The home team will get to call the toss and alternating possession will take effect from that point forward.
