MOREHEAD, Ky. — All the anticipation and anxious waiting should finally come to fruition Wednesday night for the Morehead State men’s basketball program as the Eagles are set to open the 2020-21 season in the Bluegrass Showcase against host and No. 10 Kentucky at Rupp Arena.
Game time is set for 6 p.m. ET.
Chuck Mraz will have the radio call on MSUEagles.com and WIVY-96.3 FM. The game will also air live on the SEC Network with Paul Sunderland and Jimmy Dykes slated to call the action.
It’s the season opener for both squads. Head coach Preston Spradlin opens his fourth year as official head coach, facing his former mentor in Kentucky head coach John Calipari. Spradlin served five seasons on Calipari’s staff before moving to Morehead State.
