Scott holds off the roaring Royals in the 4th quarter

By Coach Willie McKay

Mason County started the game with the ball but both teams were not taking very good care of the ball. Both teams had a combined 21 turnover in the first half. Mason County is struggling shooting the ball hopefully they can come alive and make it a close game. Scott has shot decent from the field so far looking to continue and hole their ten point lead the rest of the game.

The beginning of the 3rd quarter Mason struggled from the field until they hit a three to get the ball rolling. Scott was able to hold the ten point lead heading into the fourth quarter. Mason has had control of the fourth quarter shooting very well and have taken care of the ball. Scott has maintained the pressure from Mason very well hitting free throws down the stretch to hold onto the lead. Scott defeats Mason County 55 to 49 and will play Montgomery County in the Semi Finals of the 10th Region Tournament.
