MOREHEAD, Ky. — Morehead State graduate student Andrew Foster has been selected this week’s Pioneer Football League co-Special Teams Player of the Week.

A Knoxville, Tenn., native, Foster booted seven punts for a 47.9-yard average at No. 19 Austin Peay. He also connected on both his PAT attempts and was successful on a 35-yard field goal.

Foster boomed three punts more than 50 yards, including a long of 62 yards.

Foster leads the league and ranks sixth among all FCS level punters with a 47.1 average after three games. He is seeking to become the first punter in program history to average 40+ for the season for four consecutive seasons.
