SPECIAL GROUP REUNION EVENTS

Class of 1970 and 1971 50th Anniversary
50 years since graduation is something to celebrate!  Unfortunately, COVID has restricted our ability to host our traditional 50-year reunion events during Homecoming weekend.  We are hosting a limited Homecoming schedule October 15-16, 2021.  As an alumnus celebrating the 50- year milestone, we invite you to join us on campus for our limited Homecoming schedule.

All 50-year celebrants, classes of 1970 and 1971, will be receiving a mailing inviting them to share their favorite memories.  Many of these memories will be featured on our social media or in an upcoming publication.  We want to ensure our alumni have the opportunity to reminisce and reconnect, even if it is virtually!

Reunion celebrants who aren’t able to attend Homecoming are invited to come back to campus at a time that in convenient for them.  For those of you who have not been to MSU’s campus recently, you will find it has changed in appearance – new buildings, new technology, new faculty – but still very much dedicated to providing excellence in education.  If you are interested in visiting campus, we would love to host you for a visit and tour.  To schedule your visit, contact the Alumni Association at 606-783-2033 or 1-800-783-ALUM or email [email protected].

African American Alumni Reunion

The African American Alumni group has hosted a biannual reunion during Homecoming for the past 20 years.  This year, the group invites alumni to enjoy the festivities planned by the Alumni Association during Homecoming 2021.  Plans are underway to host an African American Alumni Reunion in the Spring of 2022 in Louisville.  The feature event during this reunion will be a Gala Dinner and Dance. More details about this spring event will be released soon!

IF YOUR GROUP IS PLANNING A SPECIAL REUNION, PLEASE CONTACT THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION TO ADD YOUR GROUP’S EVENTS TO THE HOMECOMING SCHEDULE! CALL 1-800-783-ALUM OR EMAIL [email protected]
